Tom Blackadar has 25+ years of experience in developing wearable and medical devices. He is a serial entrepreneur helping launch or relaunch 4 different startups. He has 40 patents and patents pending. Tom was one of the pioneers in wearable computing catching the bug back in 1992 at Bolt Beranek and Newman. He was part of the initial wearable incubation with his second startup as he founded FitSense Technology in 1997 to “bring the human body online”. He has taken numerous products through the FDA process to commercialization and created the first wearable sensors in Reebok and Nike sneakers
